Jason Jarvis is a paramedic and former U.S. Army Special Forces medic who served mainly in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. He is a full time international freelance medical trainer in several disciplines such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care, travel and tropical medicine, minor surgical skills, and both adult and pediatric Advanced Life Support. Jason has published in the Journal of Special Operations Medicine and is an article reviewer for International Health, the journal of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. In 2021, Jason is looking forward to training in Rwanda and Norway, presenting the Tropical Medicine Update at the annual Special Operations Medical Association Scientific Assembly in North Carolina, and completing his postgraduate certification in Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
